Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodation is categorized into two types: shared rooms for four students and single rooms for individual occupancy. Shared rooms include a common bathroom, while single rooms have private bathrooms. Room charges are inclusive of utilities and internet connectivity.
Mess billing follows a monthly system where students pay in advance based on their meal preferences. The mess offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian options with seasonal variations to accommodate dietary diversity. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals for specific days or during leave periods.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial assistance is available through various schemes based on income slabs and other qualifying criteria:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee with partial concession in hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver in tuition fee and full concession in hostel rent.
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% waiver in tuition fee and concessional hostel charges.
Applications for these schemes must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The application process involves verification by the financial aid committee followed by approval or rejection based on eligibility criteria.
