Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, and administrative overheads. This fee remains consistent across semesters and includes access to digital libraries and learning platforms.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in air-conditioned dormitories with common areas, laundry facilities, and 24/7 security. Room types vary from single occupancy to shared accommodations with varying amenities.
Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals provided in campus canteens. This covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire semester. Adjustments are made at the end of each month based on consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare initiatives including health camps, cultural events, and scholarship funds for meritorious students.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the institute's medical center, including consultations, vaccinations, and emergency care.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, fitness centers, and recreational programs offered by the student union.
Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, including invigilation, evaluation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodation is divided into different categories based on room types and amenities:
- Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 35,000 per semester with private bathroom and Wi-Fi access.
- Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 28,000 per semester with shared bathroom facilities and basic amenities.
- Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 20,000 per semester with shared bathroom and common kitchen space.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly cycle. Students pay an advance amount of Rs. 12,000 at the beginning of each semester. Monthly adjustments are made based on actual consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who stay for more than six months without any absences.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We provide financial assistance through various scholarship schemes designed to support deserving students:
- Merit-Based Scholarships: Awarded to top performers in academics and extracurricular activities. Eligibility criteria include maintaining a CGPA of 9.0 or above and demonstrating leadership qualities.
- SC/ST/PwD Category Scholarships: Reserved seats for candidates from these categories with specific income slabs. Income limits are set at Rs. 1 lakh annually for SC/ST students and Rs. 2 lakh for PwD students.
- EWS Concessions: Eligible students must have an annual family income between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): Financial aid provided to children of migrant workers who meet certain educational benchmarks and financial criteria.
Application processes for these scholarships are conducted online through the official portal. Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates, Aadhaar cards, and academic transcripts. Detailed guidelines and deadlines are communicated via email and notice boards.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day until full payment is received. Students can make payments through net banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts issued by nationalized banks.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies apply as follows:
- Before Academic Start: Full refund minus processing fees (Rs. 1,000) is processed within 30 days.
- After Academic Start: Refund is calculated after deducting actual incurred expenses and a processing fee of Rs. 1,000.
- No Refund for Mid-Year Withdrawals: Students who withdraw during the middle of a semester will not receive any refund unless special circumstances are approved by the administration.
