Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodation is categorized into different types based on room amenities:
- Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 60,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 45,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 30,000 per semester
The mess charges are calculated monthly based on the number of days attended and include meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rebates are available for students who attend less than 80% of the scheduled meals in a month.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Several financial assistance schemes are available to eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver on tuition fees with partial concession on hostel charges based on income slabs.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and 25% concession on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% waiver on tuition fees and 10% concession on hostel charges.
Students must submit an application along with supporting documents to be considered for financial aid. The process is reviewed annually based on updated income certificates and other relevant documentation.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments are due by the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty fee of Rs. 1000 per day until cleared. Students can make payments online through secure gateways or at designated bank branches.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy, which considers factors such as the duration of stay and reason for withdrawal. Refunds are typically credited within 30 days after approval.
