Fee Structure (Per Semester)

The total fee for the entire program is approximately INR 3,50,000 over 6 semesters. This includes all mandatory charges and is subject to annual revision based on college policies.

Detailed Fee Breakdown

Tuition Fee (INR 60,000): Covers instruction, study materials, access to libraries, and academic resources. The fee structure is designed to provide quality education while remaining affordable for students from various economic backgrounds.

Hostel Rent (INR 15,000): Includes accommodation in a comfortable hostel environment with basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and internet connectivity. Hostels are managed by the college to ensure safety and comfort for all residents.

Mess Advance (INR 8,000): This is an advance payment towards meals provided in the campus mess facility. The amount covers daily meals for the entire semester and can be adjusted based on actual consumption during the term.

Student Benevolent Fund (INR 2,000): A fund used to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to build a solidarity network among students.

Medical Fees (INR 1,000): Covers basic medical services and consultations available within the college campus. Students have access to health check-ups, first aid, and emergency care facilities.

Gymkhana Fees (INR 500): Supports extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events, and student clubs. These fees contribute to maintaining gymnasiums, organizing competitions, and promoting overall student wellness.

Examination Fees (INR 1,000): Covers administrative costs related to conducting examinations, evaluating answer scripts, and issuing certificates. This fee ensures that students can focus on their studies without worrying about exam-related expenses.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Bishamber Sahai Diploma Engineering College provide a safe and conducive environment for students. Hostel rooms are equipped with basic amenities including beds, tables, chairs, and storage spaces. Each room accommodates 2-4 students depending on the type of accommodation.

Mess charges are collected in advance and adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption. The mess offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to cater to different dietary preferences. Meals are served multiple times a day, ensuring that students have access to nutritious food throughout their stay.

Rebate policies are available for students who take leave or travel during the semester. These policies help reduce financial burden while maintaining fairness in billing procedures.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers several fee waivers and concessions to deserving students based on their socio-economic background and academic performance.

SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees. Additionally, they may be eligible for hostel and mess subsidies based on income criteria.

EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees. The concession extends to hostel and mess charges as well, subject to verification of documents.

MCM (Minority Community Students): These students enjoy a 25% discount on tuition fees along with partial waivers on other charges.

Scholarships are also available for meritorious students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements or participate in extracurricular activities. The scholarship amount varies from INR 10,000 to INR 50,000 per semester based on merit and need.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments for fees must be made through NEFT/RTGS or online banking transfers to the college's designated account. Late payments attract a nominal late fee of INR 500 per month until the dues are cleared.

The refund policy is strictly followed in cases of withdrawal or discontinuation from the program. Refunds are processed within 30 days after submission of the withdrawal application and verification of documents.

Students who wish to withdraw must submit a formal application along with supporting documents. Once approved, the refund amount is credited back to the student's bank account after deducting administrative charges.
