Scholarship Overview
Central Institute of Engineering and Technology Muzaffarpur recognizes the importance of financial support for students to pursue quality education. The institute offers a wide range of scholarships, both within its own programs and through partnerships with external organizations.
Institute-Wide Scholarships
The following scholarships are available to all students based on merit and need:
- MCM Scholarship: Named after the institute’s founder, this scholarship supports meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Awards up to INR 50,000 annually.
- Merit Merit Scholarship: For top-performing students in each semester. Amount ranges from INR 20,000 to 40,000 based on academic performance.
- Gender Equality Grant: Encourages female participation in engineering by providing additional financial support for girls.
- Disability Support Fund: Offers special funding for students with disabilities to cover assistive devices and transportation costs.
Donor & Alumni Scholarships
The institute collaborates with donors and alumni associations to provide targeted scholarships:
- Bharti Foundation Scholarship: For SC/ST students with a focus on promoting education in rural areas. Amount: INR 30,000 annually.
- Alumni Association Merit Award: Given to outstanding graduates who return as mentors or researchers. Value: INR 50,000 per year.
- Technology Entrepreneurship Fund: Supports students interested in starting tech ventures with seed funding of up to INR 1 lakh.
- Research Excellence Grant: Funds research projects led by undergraduate and postgraduate students working on innovative ideas.

- Google India Scholarship Program: Offers financial support for students pursuing computer science degrees. Value: INR 1 lakh per year.

Application Process
To apply for any scholarship at CIET:
