Component-wise Explanation of Fees

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to academic resources. It includes fees for course materials, library access, and digital learning platforms.

Hostel Rent: Charges for accommodation in campus hostels, which vary based on room type (single, double, triple sharing). Single rooms are priced at INR 30,000 annually, while shared rooms are priced accordingly.

Mess Advance: A one-time payment required to cover mess expenses for the entire academic year. This includes meals, snacks, and beverages provided by the campus canteen system.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial hardships, emergency medical needs, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services, including consultations with campus doctors, diagnostic tests, and minor treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to gym facilities, sports activities, recreational events, and extracurricular programs.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting end-term exams, evaluation, result declaration, and certificate issuance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The campus offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities:

  • Single Rooms: INR 30,000/year (includes AC, Wi-Fi, study tables, beddings)
  • Double Sharing Rooms: INR 25,000/year (includes basic amenities like beds, study tables, Wi-Fi)
  • Triple Sharing Rooms: INR 20,000/year (standard room with shared bathroom facilities)

Mess charges are calculated on a monthly basis based on the number of meals consumed. Students can opt for full-board or half-board plans depending on their needs.

Rebate policies apply to students who do not consume meals regularly or those who leave campus temporarily during the semester. Applications for rebates must be submitted before the start of the academic term and are subject to approval by the hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college provides several financial aid options to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for students belonging to these categories.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession based on income slab criteria (annual gross income less than INR 8 lakh).
  • MCM (Minority Community): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities.

Eligibility criteria are verified through official documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, disability certificates, and Aadhaar cards. Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline along with supporting documents.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit card transactions. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 100 per day, starting from the due date until payment is received.

The refund policy applies in cases of withdrawal or transfer from the college:

  • Withdrawal before first semester: Full refund minus processing fees (INR 1,000).
  • Withdrawal after first semester: Refund of remaining balance after deducting tuition and hostel charges for the completed months.
  • Transfer to another institution: Refund of remaining balance after adjusting for fees already incurred.

Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of all necessary documents and approvals. In case of disputes, students can appeal to the finance committee for resolution.
