Fee Components Explained

Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various hostel accommodation options, including single, double, triple, and quad sharing rooms. Each room type has different pricing and amenities:
- Single Sharing Room: ₹20,000 per semester
- Double Sharing Room: ₹18,000 per semester
- Triple Sharing Room: ₹16,000 per semester
- Quad Sharing Room: ₹14,000 per semester
Mess charges are included in the hostel fees and cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The mess billing system is automated and managed through an online portal where students can track their monthly consumption and make payments.
Rebate policies are applicable for students who stay outside campus or have special circumstances. Students must submit applications for rebates along with supporting documents to the hostel authority.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial assistance programs to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for eligible students with income below ₹1 lakh per annum.
- EWS Category: 50% fee concession for families with annual income between ₹1-3 lakhs.
- MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% fee discount based on income criteria and community status.
Students must submit detailed application forms along with income certificates, caste certificates, and other relevant documents to qualify for these benefits. The scholarship committee reviews applications annually and disburses funds accordingly.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made through online banking, debit/credit cards, NEFT, RTGS, or demand drafts. The university provides an online portal where students can view their dues, make payments, and generate receipts.
Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees. Students who fail to pay before the deadline may be subject to a penalty of ₹100 per day.
In case of withdrawal or transfer, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Before Academic Session Begins: Full refund minus administrative charges.
- During First Month of Session: 80% refund after deducting fees.
- After First Month: No refund is granted.
Refunds are processed within 30 days upon submission of required documents and approval from the finance department.
