Component Breakdown

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose and contributes to the overall quality of education and student life at the university.

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative services. The tuition fee is fixed for the duration of the program and includes access to all academic facilities, including libraries, laboratories, and digital resources.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges include room rent, utilities, and maintenance costs. Students can choose between single, double, or triple occupancy rooms depending on their preferences and budget.

Mess Advance: This is a prepayment for meals during the semester. The mess advance covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all students residing on campus. The amount varies based on the meal plan chosen by the student.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions to this fund support scholarships, financial aid, and emergency assistance for students facing hardships. It also funds extracurricular activities and cultural events that enrich student life.

Medical Fees: These fees cover access to medical services on campus, including consultations with doctors, basic treatments, and emergency care. Students are encouraged to maintain regular health check-ups and stay up-to-date with vaccinations.

Gymkhana Fees: This fee supports sports and recreational activities available on campus, including gym memberships, athletic facilities, and inter-college competitions. It promotes physical fitness and teamwork among students.

Examination Fees: These fees cover the cost of conducting examinations, evaluating answer scripts, and issuing certificates upon successful completion of the program.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Students can choose from single, double, or triple occupancy rooms depending on their needs and financial capacity.

Single Occupancy Room: These rooms are designed for individual students and come with a private bathroom and study desk. The monthly rent is 12000 INR.

Double Occupancy Room: Shared rooms accommodate two students each. They feature a shared bathroom, common area, and study space. Monthly rent is 8000 INR per student.

Triple Occupancy Room: These rooms house three students sharing a single bathroom and common space. The monthly rent is 6000 INR per student.

The mess billing system is managed through an online portal where students can view their meal plans, track consumption, and manage payments. Rebate policies are applied for students who do not consume meals regularly or opt out of the mess service.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial aid options to ensure that quality education remains accessible to all deserving students. These include fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on academic merit, economic background, or special circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships:

  • Academic Merit: Students scoring above 90% in 12th grade are eligible for full tuition fee waivers.
  • Economic Background: Students from families with an annual income below 3 lakhs are eligible for partial fee concessions ranging from 25% to 50%.
  • PwD Students: Students with disabilities receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and additional support in accommodation and transportation.
  • SC/ST/PwD Categories: These students are entitled to a 100% waiver on hostel rent and a partial concession on mess charges.

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form along with supporting documents such as income certificates, disability certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee, which evaluates each case based on merit and need.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All payments must be made through online banking or NEFT transfer to the university's designated account. The payment deadline for each semester is set two weeks before the start of the semester to allow sufficient time for processing.

Late Fee Calculation:

A late fee of 500 INR per day is charged for payments made after the deadline. Students who fail to pay within the stipulated period may face suspension from classes until the dues are settled.

Refund Policy:

If a student withdraws from the university, a refund of fees will be processed after deducting administrative charges and any outstanding dues. Refunds are typically credited within 30 days of submission of the withdrawal request.
