Fee Structure Overview

The total fee structure for the Electrical Engineering program at Dr Preeti Global University Shivpuri is designed to provide comprehensive educational support while ensuring affordability for all students. The fees are paid on a semester-wise basis, and include both tuition and miscellaneous charges.

Fee Component Breakdown

• Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, access to learning materials, and laboratory usage. This fee is non-refundable unless otherwise specified in exceptional circumstances.
• Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study desks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and security services.
• Mess Advance: Covers food expenses for the entire semester. Students pay this advance upfront to facilitate smooth meal arrangements throughout the academic year.
• Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support student welfare programs, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.
• Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided within the campus medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and minor treatments.
• Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports facilities, gymnasium access, and athletic events organized by the student union.
• Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end examinations, including invigilation, question paper preparation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university operates multiple hostels catering to different needs, including single occupancy rooms, shared rooms (2-4 persons), and luxury suites. Room charges vary based on amenities and comfort levels:

Mess charges are fixed at INR 1000 per day, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students can opt for a monthly advance payment plan to avoid daily billing issues.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance schemes to ensure equitable access to quality education:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees along with full exemption from hostel rent and mess charges.
• EWS Category: Students in the Economically Weaker Section category get a 30% discount on tuition fees, partial reimbursement of hostel charges, and subsidized meal plans.
• MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit Scholars): Based on JEE ranks or academic excellence, these students enjoy 20% tuition fee concessions and additional benefits like priority hostel allocation and scholarship awards.

Applications for financial aid must be submitted online via the official portal before the deadline. Documentation such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards are required for verification purposes.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fee payments must be made through net banking, debit/credit cards, or NEFT transfers to the university's designated account. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 1000 per day beyond the due date.

In case of withdrawal or course discontinuation, the refund policy applies as follows:

• Withdrawal Before Admission: Full refund upon submission of official documents and withdrawal form.
• Withdrawal After Admission: Refund of tuition fee minus a processing fee of INR 5000. Hostel and mess charges are adjusted accordingly based on occupancy period.
• Refund Timeline: Refunds are processed within 15 working days after the withdrawal request is approved.
