Admissions Process for B.Tech in Physiotherapy

The admission process at Era University Lucknow is conducted through a transparent and merit-based system, primarily using JEE Advanced scores for undergraduate admissions. For the B.Tech in Physiotherapy program, applicants must meet specific academic qualifications and follow a detailed application procedure.

Applicants can apply online via the official university portal during the designated period announced by the university. The application form requires personal details, educational background, and preferences for admission categories (General, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD). All documents must be uploaded in digital format as per specified guidelines.

After submission of the form, applicants are required to appear for an online document verification process. The university verifies academic records, identity proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other supporting documents. Failure to provide valid documentation may lead to disqualification from the admission process.

The selection is primarily based on performance in JEE Advanced or equivalent qualifying examination. Students must have secured a minimum aggregate of 75% in their 12th-grade board examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. For PwD candidates, the relaxation is extended to 65%.

Once the results are declared, applicants who qualify for admission are invited to participate in the counseling process. The counseling involves choice filling for available seats based on rank, category-wise merit lists, and preferences provided by the candidate. Seats are allocated through a centralized system ensuring fairness and transparency.

Strategic Advice for Aspirants

To succeed in the admission process, aspirants should start preparing early, focusing on mastering core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Regular practice of mock tests and previous years' question papers is essential.

During counseling, it's crucial to understand the seat matrix and choose preferences wisely based on historical rank trends and personal interest areas. It's advisable to keep a list of preferred colleges in descending order of rank expectations.

Additionally, candidates should prepare for potential interviews or written tests that may be conducted by the university during the admission process. These assessments evaluate not only academic knowledge but also communication skills and motivation for pursuing physiotherapy as a profession.
