The total fee structure for the engineering program at G L A University Mathura is divided into multiple components, with each semester requiring payment of the following fees:

Fee Components Explained
Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose:
- Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and curriculum development. It is fixed and does not vary with student attendance.
- Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted hostels. Rates may vary depending on room type (single, double, triple sharing).
- Mess Advance: Paid at the beginning of each semester, covers meal expenses for 12 weeks. A refund is processed at the end of the semester if unused.
- Student Benevolent Fund: Supports welfare activities and scholarships for underprivileged students.
- Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center.
- Gymkhana Fees: Funds extracurricular activities, sports events, and student organizations.
- Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting exams and evaluating performance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various hostel accommodations for students:
- Single Occupancy Room: ₹20,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: ₹15,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy Room: ₹12,000 per semester
Mess charges are inclusive of three meals a day and vary slightly by hostel category. A detailed billing system is in place for mess consumption, with adjustments made based on actual usage.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial assistance is available to students through various schemes:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for eligible students
- EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee
- MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% concession on tuition fee
Students must submit relevant documents to qualify for these concessions. The application process is handled through the university portal, with decisions made within two weeks of submission.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made online via net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI platforms. Students are required to complete payment by the deadline specified in the academic calendar.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the university’s refund policy:
- Before 15 days of admission: Full refund minus administrative charges
- Between 15–30 days: 75% refund
- After 30 days: No refund unless due to medical reasons or transfer
Late payments incur a penalty of ₹200 per day, with interest calculated monthly. Refunds are processed within 30 working days upon approval.
