Detailed Fee Component Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction and educational resources including library access, digital tools, and academic support services.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single, double, or triple occupancy rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

Mess Advance: Monthly advance payment for meals provided by the university’s catering services. The mess includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner with seasonal variations based on dietary preferences.

Student Benevolent Fund: A contribution towards student welfare activities, sports, cultural events, and emergency support during difficult times.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services at the university hospital, including consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests.

Gymkhana Fees: Funds for maintaining campus recreational facilities like gyms, sports grounds, and fitness programs.

Examination Fees: Paid for conducting semester exams, internal assessments, and practical evaluations conducted by the university board.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers three types of hostel accommodations: Single Room (₹15,000/month), Double Room (₹12,000/month), and Triple Room (₹10,000/month). Each room is equipped with essential furniture and utilities.

The mess charges are fixed at ₹12,000 per month for all students. This includes three meals daily with a varied menu designed by nutritionists. Students can opt for special dietary options such as vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or gluten-free upon prior request.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent for more than two weeks due to medical reasons or other valid causes. Applications must be submitted with supporting documents to the hostel administration office.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial assistance schemes based on merit, need, and social background:

  • SC/ST/PwD Students: 100% waiver on tuition fees and hostel rent
  • EWS Students: 50% concession on all fees
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% reduction in tuition fee

Eligibility for scholarships depends on income slabs as follows:

  • Below ₹3 lakh/year: 100% scholarship
  • ₹3–6 lakh/year: 50% scholarship
  • ₹6–10 lakh/year: 25% scholarship

Students must submit an application form along with supporting documents including income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and Aadhaar card copies. Applications are reviewed by a committee comprising faculty members and administrative staff.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid online through the university portal using debit/credit cards or net banking. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable after 15 days of default.

Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on the outstanding amount. Students who fail to pay within 30 days may face suspension from classes until dues are cleared.

If a student withdraws from the university before completing one semester, a refund of tuition fee and hostel rent will be processed after deducting administrative charges and any applicable late fees.
