Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facility at our institute provides comfortable living conditions for students. The hostel rooms are air-conditioned with shared facilities including common lounges, study areas, and recreational spaces. Laundry services are provided twice a week, and 24/7 security ensures student safety.
There are different room types available to accommodate varying preferences and budgets:
- Semi-Deluxe Rooms: Equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, chairs, wardrobes, and fans. These rooms house two students each.
- Deluxe Rooms: Offer enhanced comfort with additional amenities like ceiling fans, attached bathrooms, and private study spaces. These rooms accommodate one student per room.
The mess billing system is straightforward and transparent:
- Monthly mess charges are collected in advance
- A detailed bill is issued at the end of each month
- Rebates are offered for students who opt out of mess services or miss meals due to valid reasons
- Special dietary arrangements can be made upon request and approved by the hostel management
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The institute offers various fee waiver schemes to support economically disadvantaged students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees for eligible students
- EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel rent
- MCM Category: 25% waiver on tuition fees and partial waiver on hostel rent
Eligibility criteria for these schemes include family income slabs, educational achievements, and specific documentation. The application process requires submission of relevant certificates and proof of income to the designated authority.
Scholarships are also available based on academic performance, leadership qualities, and community service activities. These scholarships range from ₹20,000 to ₹1,00,000 per semester and are awarded annually after evaluation by a committee.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payment procedures for fees are strictly regulated to ensure timely processing and accountability:
- All payments must be made through online channels using net banking or UPI applications
- Students must complete payment within the specified deadline to avoid late fees and academic penalties
- Late fee calculations are applied at 2% per month on outstanding balances, with a maximum cap of ₹10,000 per semester
- Refund policies allow for partial refunds upon withdrawal before specific deadlines, subject to administrative approval
The refund process involves submitting an application form along with supporting documents and receiving confirmation via email. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after approval.
