Detailed Fee Component Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, and academic resources. This is the largest component of the fee and reflects the quality of education provided by our faculty and infrastructure.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-managed hostels with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, and common areas. Students can opt for different room types based on availability and preference.

Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly mess charges to cover meals provided by the hostel mess. The amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected for supporting underprivileged students and funding extracurricular activities within the campus.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available at the campus health center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Used to maintain sports facilities, organize events, and support student clubs and societies.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Government Polytechnic Bans are equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable living environment for students. Hostels offer various room types:

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid by the specified deadlines to avoid late fees. Late payment incurs a penalty of ₹500 per day, up to a maximum of 10 days. Refunds are processed only after formal application and verification of reasons such as withdrawal, transfer, or medical emergencies.

Students who withdraw from the program must submit an official request form along with supporting documents. Refund eligibility is determined based on the duration of study and adherence to academic policies.
