Fee Structure

The total fee for the Electrical Engineering program at Govt Polytechnic Gopeshwar Chamoli is ₹1,20,000 for the entire duration of 4 years. The fee is divided into semesters with a breakdown provided below:

Fee Component Details

Tuition Fee: This is the primary fee component covering academic instruction and curriculum development. It remains constant across all semesters.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided on a monthly basis with varying room types. The rent includes utilities, internet access, and basic amenities.

Mess Advance: Students are required to pay an advance for meals during the semester. This amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare and development initiatives.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Mess charges are determined based on the type of room occupied and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rebate policies are applicable for students who opt out of meals or reside outside campus.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to eligible students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and partial concession on hostel charges.
• EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and 25% concession on hostel charges.
• MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% waiver on tuition fee and 10% concession on hostel charges.

The eligibility criteria for these concessions are based on income slabs and official documentation submitted during admission.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹1000 per month. Refunds are processed according to university regulations upon withdrawal or academic misconduct.
