Fee Structure
The total program fee for the Architectural Assistantship course at Government Polytechnic Lohaghat is designed to cover all essential academic and residential expenses. The fees are divided into semesters, with specific components detailed below:

Component Details
Tuition Fee: Covers course instruction, access to digital resources, laboratory sessions, and administrative support. This fee remains constant throughout the program duration.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in our well-maintained campus hostels with shared amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.
Mess Advance: An advance payment towards meals provided through our central mess facility. The actual cost is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution used to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations with medical professionals and access to medicines.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities and sports facilities offered by the institute's gymkhana committee.
Examination Fees: Paid for conducting internal and external examinations, including evaluation and result declaration.
Hostel & Mess Charges
Our hostel facilities are categorized into different types to accommodate varying needs:
- Single Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per semester with individual amenities including study table, bed, and wardrobe.
- Double Occupancy Room: INR 12,000 per semester shared between two students with similar amenities.
- Triple Occupancy Room: INR 10,000 per semester for three students sharing common spaces and facilities.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive meals based on their consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month to reflect actual usage. Rebates are available for students who stay in hostels for fewer than 20 days per month.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We offer various financial assistance options based on merit and need:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for eligible students with income below INR 2 lakhs annually.
- EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students with income between INR 2-5 lakhs annually.
- MCM (Migrant Community Member): 30% fee concession with documentation proving migration status.
To apply for financial aid, students must submit relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and medical reports (if applicable). Applications are reviewed by the finance committee and approved based on eligibility criteria.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees must be paid within 10 days of receipt of invoice. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the due date. Payments can be made through online banking, NEFT, or cash at the institute's finance office.
In case of withdrawal from the program, students are entitled to a refund of tuition fees after deducting administrative charges and hostel rent for the current semester. The remaining balance is refunded within 60 days of submission of formal request.
