Admission Process
The admission to the Computer Applications program at Guru Kashi University Bathinda follows a transparent and fair procedure that ensures merit-based selection while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Applicants must first register online through the university's official portal during the designated application period. The registration process involves filling out personal details, educational qualifications, and uploading necessary documents such as mark sheets, certificates, and identification proofs.
After successful registration, candidates are required to appear for qualifying entrance examinations such as JEE Main or JEE Advanced. Alternatively, the university may accept scores from other recognized exams like UCEED, WBJEE, or state-level engineering entrance tests.
Following the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification and counseling sessions. The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination, along with any applicable bonus points for reservation categories.
The counseling process includes choice filling where candidates rank their preferred programs and colleges. Based on the merit list and available seats, candidates are allocated to respective programs through a computerized seat allocation system.
