Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: This is the primary component covering instruction costs, laboratory sessions, and access to digital resources. The fee remains constant throughout the program duration.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges for students residing on campus. The university offers various room types including single, double, triple, and quad occupancy options with shared amenities.
Mess Advance: Monthly advance payments required for meals provided in the campus hostel mess facilities. This amount is adjusted against actual consumption at the end of each month.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies during their academic tenure.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services and medical consultations provided within the campus health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports facilities, and student welfare programs conducted by the university.

Hostel & Mess Charges

There are different categories of rooms available:

- Double Occupancy Room

- Quad Occupancy Room
Each room includes a study table, bed, wardrobe, and basic furniture. Shared bathrooms and common areas are also provided for each floor.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with students required to pay an advance amount for meals. The actual charges are adjusted based on the number of meals consumed during the month. Rebate policies apply for students who do not stay in hostel for full months or those residing outside during certain periods.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
The university offers several financial assistance schemes to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories are eligible for a 100% fee waiver on tuition and hostel charges.
- EWS Category: Students from EWS category receive a 50% concession on tuition fees.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Eligible students receive a 25% discount on tuition fees.
Income slabs for scholarship eligibility are as follows:
- Up to Rs. 1,00,000 per annum: Full waiver
- Rs. 1,00,001 - Rs. 2,00,000 per annum: 50% concession
- Rs. 2,00,001 - Rs. 3,00,000 per annum: 25% concession
Applications for fee waivers and scholarships must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Students are required to complete the payment before the specified deadline to avoid late fees.
Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on outstanding balances. Refunds are processed according to university regulations in case of withdrawal or transfer from the institution.
The refund policy specifies that:
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days upon submission of a formal application.
- Students must provide valid reasons for withdrawal and supporting documents.
- No refund will be granted after six months of enrollment.
