Admissions Process

Haridwar University Roorkee's Management program accepts applications through JEE Advanced, JEE Main, or direct admission based on 12th-grade performance. The process is transparent and structured to ensure fairness and merit-based selection.

The application process begins with online registration via the university website. Applicants must fill out the form accurately and upload required documents including academic certificates, passport-size photographs, and identity proofs. After submission, applicants are required to pay the application fee using net banking or credit/debit cards.

Once the application is submitted, the university verifies the details within 7-10 working days. Successful candidates receive an admit card for the entrance exam or counseling session, depending on their preferred mode of admission.

For JEE Advanced-based admissions, students must have appeared in JEE Advanced and scored above the qualifying marks set by the university. Those who qualify are shortlisted based on rank and category-wise cutoffs. For direct admissions through 12th-grade performance, candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent subjects.

Preparation Strategy for Aspirants

To succeed in the admission process, aspirants should follow a structured preparation plan that covers all aspects of the qualifying exams. Key strategies include:

  • Understanding Syllabus: Familiarize yourself with the syllabus for JEE Main and Advanced to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Time Management: Create a daily schedule allocating time for each subject, leaving room for revision and mock tests.
  • Practice Regularly: Solve previous years' papers and take online mock tests to assess readiness and improve speed.
  • Focus on Weak Areas: Identify weak areas through regular assessments and dedicate extra time to mastering those topics.
  • Use Quality Resources: Utilize recommended books, coaching materials, and online platforms for effective learning.

Counseling is conducted in multiple rounds, where candidates can choose their preferred institutions and branches. The final seat allocation is based on rank, category, and preferences filled during counseling. It is crucial to understand the choice-filling strategy to secure admission in the desired branch.
