Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various hostel options to accommodate students based on their preferences and budget. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and quad occupancy rooms.
Single occupancy rooms come with individual study spaces, attached bathrooms, and private amenities. Double occupancy rooms provide shared bathroom facilities while maintaining privacy and comfort for two residents. Shared accommodations offer cost-effective solutions for students looking to minimize expenses.
Mess charges are calculated based on meal plans offered by the university's catering services. Students can choose between standard or premium meals, with prices adjusted accordingly. Monthly billing is done at the end of each month, and any outstanding balances must be settled before the next billing cycle begins.
Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or those facing financial constraints. These rebates are processed through the university's finance office upon submission of relevant documentation.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides multiple avenues for financial assistance to eligible students. These include fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on academic merit, economic background, or special circumstances.
Eligibility criteria for fee waivers are as follows: Students from economically weaker sections (EWS) with annual family income below INR 3 lakh qualify for partial fee waivers. SC/ST/PwD students receive full fee waivers along with additional support through various government schemes.
Scholarships are awarded based on performance in qualifying examinations and overall academic standing. The university also offers merit-based scholarships to top performers in each cohort, recognizing excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
The application process for financial aid involves submitting detailed documentation including income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant proof of eligibility. Applications are reviewed by the finance committee, and successful candidates are notified via official communication channels.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online banking or credit/debit card transactions to ensure timely processing and record-keeping. The university does not accept cash payments for fee transactions.
Payments are due within 15 days of the start of each semester. Late fees of INR 1000 per day apply after this deadline unless a valid reason is provided and approved by the finance department.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are applied based on the duration of enrollment. Students who withdraw before completing one semester receive no refunds. Those who complete half or more of a semester are entitled to a proportional refund after deducting administrative charges.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of approval and transferred directly to the student's bank account. Students must submit all necessary documents including the withdrawal form, payment receipts, and any other required paperwork for processing.
