Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel accommodation options at Iimt University Meerut cater to diverse preferences and budgets. Rooms are available in single, double, and triple sharing arrangements with varying levels of comfort and amenities.

Single rooms come with individual study desks, wardrobe, bed, and air conditioning facilities. Double rooms provide shared spaces but maintain privacy for students. Triple sharing offers a more communal experience with shared common areas.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per day. The billing system uses RFID cards or mobile apps to track daily consumption and adjust bills accordingly. Monthly mess advances ensure that students have uninterrupted access to meals throughout the semester.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a partial rebate on hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: A 50% concession in tuition fee and 30% reduction in hostel rent is provided to eligible students.
  • MCM (Minority Community Students): These students are entitled to a 25% discount on tuition fees and additional support through special merit scholarships.

The application process for fee waivers involves submitting relevant documentation such as caste certificates, income certificates, disability certificates, or any other proof required by the university. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee and decisions are communicated within a few weeks of submission.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of the semester to ensure smooth enrollment. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts. Late payments attract penalties as per university guidelines.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students are eligible for refunds subject to specific conditions and timelines. Refunds are processed within 30 days after the formal request is submitted with all required documents verified.
