Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Dormitory rooms are equipped with essential furniture, study desks, wardrobes, and air conditioning.
The mess billing system is simple and transparent. Students pay a fixed monthly advance that covers meals for the entire month. At the end of each month, the actual charges are deducted from the advance amount, and any remaining balance is refunded.
Rebate policies are available for students who opt out of the mess facility or those who take leaves during specific periods. These policies ensure fairness and flexibility in meal arrangements.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers multiple financial aid options to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive full fee waivers based on income slabs. Applications must be supported by valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
- EWS Category: Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section category can avail partial fee concessions ranging from 25% to 50% depending on their financial status.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): This category includes students whose parents are migrant workers. They receive a concession of up to 30% on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel charges.
All scholarship applications must be submitted through the university's official portal along with supporting documents. The selection committee reviews each application based on academic merit, family income, and other relevant factors.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments must be made before the specified deadlines to avoid late fees. The university accepts payments via online banking, credit/debit cards, and demand drafts.
Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on outstanding dues. Students who fail to make timely payments may face restrictions on library access, examination registration, and other academic services.
The refund policy is applicable in cases of withdrawal from the program or transfer to another institution. Refunds are processed within 30 days of formal request, subject to verification of eligibility and deduction of any outstanding dues.
