Detailed Breakdown of Each Component

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers access to lectures, laboratory sessions, and academic resources. It is subject to annual revision based on inflation and infrastructure development costs.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided in shared rooms with basic amenities including beds, study tables, and wardrobes. Students can choose between single, double, or triple occupancy rooms depending on availability and preference.

Mess Advance: The mess advance covers meal expenses for the semester. Students are required to pay this amount at the beginning of each semester. The mess bill is settled at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and helps with emergency financial needs.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations and minor treatments. Students have access to a campus health center staffed by qualified doctors and nurses.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, fitness programs, and recreational facilities on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel charges are categorized based on room types: Single Occupancy Room (SOR) - Rs. 20,000 per semester, Double Occupancy Room (DOR) - Rs. 18,000 per semester, Triple Occupancy Room (TOR) - Rs. 16,000 per semester.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle with fixed charges for each meal. Students are required to pay the advance amount at the start of the semester and receive a refund upon settlement at the end of the term. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly, subject to approval by the hostel authority.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to eligible students based on income slabs and category-specific criteria:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students belonging to these categories. Income slab: Below Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students from economically weaker sections. Income slab: Between Rs. 2,00,000 and Rs. 8,00,000 per annum.
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities. Income slab: Below Rs. 4,00,000 per annum.

To apply for these benefits, students must submit relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The application process is conducted online through the university portal.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students can make fee payments through net banking, credit/debit cards, or bank transfers. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to ensure timely processing of admissions and enrollment procedures.

Late fees are applicable for delayed payments, calculated at 1% per month on the outstanding amount. Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal from the university, subject to the refund policy guidelines.
