Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction and academic resources. It includes access to library services, digital learning platforms, and faculty lectures.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single or double-occupancy rooms within the campus hostel facilities.

Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: A contribution towards student welfare and emergency financial assistance.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided within the campus medical center.

Gymkhana Fees: Access to sports facilities, recreational activities, and wellness programs.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

K L Polytechnic provides comfortable hostel accommodation for students. Hostels are equipped with essential amenities including internet connectivity, laundry facilities, and 24/7 security services.

Room Types:

• Single Occupancy Room: ₹60,000 per semester (includes air-conditioned room and shared common area)
• Double Occupancy Room: ₹50,000 per semester (includes air-conditioned room and shared common area)

Mess Billing System: Meals are billed on a monthly basis, with options for advance payment or installment plans. Students can customize their meal preferences based on dietary requirements.

Rebate Policies: Students who do not consume meals during certain periods may be eligible for partial rebates upon submission of valid documentation.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers several financial aid options to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Concession: Eligible students receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees.
• EWS Category: Students belonging to EWS category are entitled to a 25% fee waiver.
• MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit): Merit-based scholarship for top performers in class 12th board exams with a minimum score of 90%.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Income Slab: Families with annual income below ₹3 lakh are eligible for concessions.
• Category-wise Eligibility: All students must submit caste certificates, income certificates, and other relevant documents to apply for financial aid.

Application Process: Students can apply online through the official website or visit the finance department for assistance. Required documents include income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and bank statements.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid by the specified dates each semester to avoid late fees and academic penalties.

Late Fee Calculation: A penalty of ₹1,000 per month is applied for delayed payments beyond the deadline.

Refund Rules:

• Withdrawal: Students who withdraw from the program are eligible for a refund after deducting administrative charges and hostel dues.
• Transfer: Refunds are processed upon transfer to another institution, subject to verification of documents and compliance with university regulations.

The refund process typically takes 2-3 months following submission of the necessary paperwork. Students must ensure all dues are cleared before initiating the refund procedure.
