Fee Components Explained
Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in delivering a comprehensive educational experience. The tuition fee covers instruction, laboratory access, library services, and administrative support.
Hostel accommodation is provided within the campus to ensure safety and convenience for all students. The hostel rent varies based on room type and amenities offered.
Mess advance ensures that students have adequate food facilities throughout their stay. The mess billing system is transparent and regularly updated to reflect current prices.
The Student Benevolent Fund contributes towards emergency assistance and support for financially disadvantaged students. Medical fees cover basic healthcare services available within the campus.
Gymkhana fees fund sports activities, cultural events, and recreational facilities that enhance student well-being and holistic development.
Examination fees are charged per semester to cover assessment costs, including external invigilation, marking, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
LNCT BHOPAL INDORE CAMPUS provides hostel facilities for both male and female students. Hostels offer comfortable living conditions with basic amenities including electricity, internet connectivity, and 24-hour security.
There are different room types available, ranging from single occupancy to shared accommodation for two or four students. Each room includes a bed, study table, chair, and storage space.
The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle with multiple meal options including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Students can choose their preferred meals during registration, and the billing is adjusted accordingly.
Rebate policies apply for students who leave campus temporarily due to family emergencies or academic commitments. These policies ensure that students are not penalized for unavoidable circumstances.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The institution offers several fee waiver schemes and scholarships based on merit, income level, and category-specific provisions. These financial aids help reduce the burden on economically weaker sections while encouraging academic excellence.
Eligibility criteria for various concessions are as follows:
- SC/ST/PwD Category - Full waiver of tuition fees along with partial or full reimbursement of hostel charges based on income slab.
- EWS Category - Partial fee waiver covering up to 50% of tuition and hostel costs for students from families with annual income below ₹3 lakh.
- MCM (Most Backward Classes) - Special provisions for students belonging to MCM categories, including full or partial fee waivers depending on family income and educational background.
Applications for fee concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, and previous academic records. The selection process involves verification by the financial aid committee and final approval from the administration.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Payment can be made through online banking, debit/credit cards, or demand draft issued in favor of the college. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day until the dues are cleared.
If a student withdraws from the program, refund policies apply based on the duration of stay and reason for withdrawal. Full refunds are granted for withdrawals within the first month of admission, while partial refunds are considered for later withdrawals after consultation with the finance department.
