The admission process for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at Maharishi Arvind University Jaipur follows a transparent and merit-based system. Prospective students can apply either through JEE Main or other relevant qualifying examinations recognized by the university. The entire procedure is divided into several well-defined stages.
Students interested in pursuing BBA must submit an online application form via the official university website. The application form requires personal details, academic qualifications, contact information, and preferred category (General, SC/ST/OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD). A valid photo and signature must be uploaded along with scanned copies of educational certificates.
After application submission, the university conducts a verification process to ensure that applicants meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The detailed requirements are outlined in the following table:
| Category | Qualifying Exam | Minimum Percentage | Subject Combination | Age Limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| General | 12th Grade (Science Stream) | 60% | Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics | Below 25 years |
| SC/ST/OBC-NCL | 12th Grade (Science Stream) | 50% | Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics | Below 25 years |
| EWS | 12th Grade (Science Stream) | 50% | Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics | Below 25 years |
| PwD | 12th Grade (Science Stream) | 45% | Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics | Below 30 years |
Applicants must qualify in either JEE Main or another qualifying examination approved by the university. The entrance exam evaluates candidates' knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General Awareness. Based on performance, students are ranked and shortlisted for admission.
Shortlisted students participate in a centralized counseling process conducted by the university. During this stage, students fill their preferences for available seats across different categories and campuses. The final allocation is based on merit rank and availability of seats.
After seat allocation, selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the specified deadline. Failure to do so results in automatic forfeiture of the allocated seat.
The following table provides historical opening and closing ranks for the last 6 years:
