The mess billing system is designed to be transparent and flexible. Students can choose between:
- Full Meal Plan: Includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Half Meal Plan: Includes two meals per day
Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to valid reasons such as illness or travel. Rebates are calculated on a pro-rata basis and applied at the end of each month.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides several financial aid options based on income slabs and other criteria:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee for eligible students with annual family income below 2 lakhs
- EWS Category: 50% concession in tuition fee for families with income between 2-6 lakhs
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): Full waiver of tuition and hostel fees
Applications for these benefits must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
The payment procedures are straightforward:
- Deadline: Fees must be paid within 10 days of admission or before the start of classes
- Late Fee: A late fee of 500 INR per day is charged for delayed payments
- Payment Modes: Online banking, net banking, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers are accepted
In case of withdrawal from the university, refund rules apply:
- Before 15 days of admission: Full refund minus processing charges
- Between 15-30 days: 70% refund
- After 30 days: No refund is provided
Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of all necessary documents and approval by the administrative committee.
