Admissions

Admissions Overview

The admission process for the Computer Science program at Mansarovar Global University Sehore is designed to identify and select candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, analytical thinking, and a passion for technology. The process ensures fairness, transparency, and alignment with institutional standards.

Application Process

The application process begins with registration on the official university website. Applicants must complete an online form, uploading necessary documents including academic transcripts, passport-size photographs, identity proof, and category certificates if applicable.

After submission, candidates undergo document verification by the admissions committee. Shortlisted applicants are then invited for an entrance examination conducted in accordance with national standards (e.g., JEE Main or JEE Advanced). The exam consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections, with a total duration of 3 hours.

Following the written test, selected candidates proceed to a personal interview round. Panelists assess candidates’ aptitude for engineering, logical reasoning, communication skills, and interest in technology. The final merit list is prepared based on combined performance in the entrance exam and interview.

Successful applicants receive an offer letter specifying their admission status and required fees. Candidates must confirm their seat within a stipulated period by submitting necessary documents and making payment of the admission fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements to be considered for admission:

  • Age Limit: Minimum age is 17 years, maximum age is 25 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

  • Minimum Percentage: General category candidates need a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. For reserved categories, the minimum percentage is reduced accordingly.

Preparation Strategy

Aspirants should begin their preparation early, ideally 8-12 months before the exam date. It is advisable to join a coaching institute or study group for structured guidance and regular practice tests.

For JEE Main preparation, focus on mastering NCERT textbooks followed by advanced problem-solving techniques from reference books like H.C. Verma (Physics), O.P. Tandon (Chemistry), and R.D. Sharma (Mathematics). Regularly solve previous years’ question papers and take mock tests to improve time management.

When filling choices during counseling, prioritize institutions based on your rank and preferences. Start with safer options and gradually move towards more competitive ones. Consider factors such as location, infrastructure, placement records, and faculty quality while making decisions.
