Project-Based Learning Philosophy
Our department strongly advocates for project-based learning as a transformative pedagogical approach. Projects are designed to simulate real-world business challenges, encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
The structure of project work involves multiple phases: problem identification, research and analysis, solution development, implementation planning, and presentation. Each project is assigned a faculty mentor who guides the team throughout the process.
Evaluation criteria include innovation, feasibility, impact assessment, teamwork, and communication skills demonstrated through written reports and oral presentations. Mini-projects are undertaken during the second and third years to build foundational competencies.
The final-year thesis/capstone project is a culmination of all learning experiences. Students choose topics relevant to their career goals or current business trends and work under the supervision of a faculty advisor. The project must demonstrate depth of understanding, analytical rigor, and potential for real-world application.
