Fee Components Explanation

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in ensuring quality education and a conducive learning environment:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory facilities, and academic resources provided by the university.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus-hostels equipped with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study tables, and internet access.
  • Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals in the campus cafeteria, which operates 24/7 and offers nutritious vegetarian options tailored to student needs.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards supporting financially disadvantaged students through scholarships and welfare programs.
  • Medical Fees: Covers basic medical check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency healthcare services available on campus.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events, and health-related initiatives.
  • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester exams and maintaining academic records.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides multiple hostel options for students, including single, double, triple, and quad-sharing rooms. Each room is equipped with necessary furniture and utilities:

  • Single Sharing Room: INR 15,000 per semester
  • Double Sharing Room: INR 12,000 per semester
  • Triple Sharing Room: INR 10,000 per semester
  • Quad Sharing Room: INR 8,000 per semester

The mess operates on a monthly billing system with flexible meal plans. Students can choose between regular and premium options depending on their dietary preferences. Rebates are available for students who opt for certain meal plans or attend special events.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees for students from these categories.
  • EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel charges.
  • MCM Category: 25% concession on tuition fees and partial waiver on hostel charges.

Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and government-recognized certificates. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid by the specified deadline each semester to avoid late fees or disqualification from exams. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the due date.

If a student withdraws from the program, refunds are processed according to the university’s refund policy. Refunds are calculated after deducting administrative charges and any outstanding dues. Withdrawal requests must be submitted at least one month prior to the start of the semester to ensure full processing time.
