Detailed Fee Components
The tuition fee covers access to classroom instruction, laboratory sessions, library resources, and academic support services. It is subject to annual revision based on inflation and infrastructure development costs.
Hostel rent provides accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with shared facilities including common areas, study spaces, and laundry services. The university offers single, double, and triple occupancy options at varying rates.
Mess advance ensures students have adequate food provisions during the semester. The billing system is based on monthly consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month.
The Student Benevolent Fund supports financial assistance for students facing unexpected hardships such as medical emergencies or family crises. Contributions are voluntary but highly recommended.
Medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including routine checkups, vaccinations, and emergency treatments.
Gymkhana fees support recreational activities and sports programs that promote physical fitness and mental well-being among students.
Examination fees are charged per semester for conducting regular assessments, mid-term exams, and end-of-year evaluations. This includes administrative costs associated with paper setting and evaluation processes.
Hostel & Mess Charges
Hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy options. Each room is equipped with essential amenities including beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity. Shared facilities include common lounges, study halls, and laundry areas.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students pay an advance amount at the beginning of each month. Meals are served in multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules. The menu includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian options with special attention to nutritional balance.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they leave campus for extended periods or during holidays. These rebates are calculated based on the number of days absent from the hostel.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Scholarships are available for SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories. Eligibility is determined based on income slabs and category certificates issued by competent authorities. Benefits include full or partial fee waivers and monthly stipends for needy students.
The application process involves filling out online forms with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards. Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee, and selected candidates are notified via email or SMS.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments must be made before the specified deadline to avoid late fees. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹1000 per day until full payment is received. Students can pay through NEFT, RTGS, debit/credit cards, or net banking.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund rules apply based on the number of weeks completed in the semester. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of necessary documents and verification by the finance department.
