Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, access to learning resources, laboratory facilities, and administrative support for the entire academic year. This fee is fixed and does not change with course load or number of credits.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in shared or private rooms, basic amenities, and maintenance services provided by the university. Rooms are equipped with beds, wardrobes, desks, and internet connectivity.

Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering three meals per day for the semester. The mess operates on a monthly billing system where students can adjust their advance amounts based on attendance.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards student welfare initiatives, including scholarships, medical assistance, and cultural activities.

Medical Fees: Covers access to campus health services, emergency care, and routine checkups for all enrolled students.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, gym facilities, and recreational programs offered by the university's student body.

Examination Fees: Includes costs associated with conducting internal assessments, external exams, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel accommodation is available in both single and double occupancy rooms. Single rooms cost INR 25000 per semester while double rooms are priced at INR 15000 per semester. Both room types come with air-conditioned spaces, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24/7 security.

The mess operates on a prepaid system where students pay an advance of INR 10000 per semester. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The mess billing is adjusted monthly based on actual consumption, and excess payments are refunded to students.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options for eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full exemption from hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: 25% waiver on tuition fee and partial concession on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): 10% waiver on tuition fee and free mess accommodation for one semester.

Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and family composition. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The scholarship committee reviews applications annually, and successful applicants receive notification via email and SMS.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid within 10 days of the start of the semester or before the registration date. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the deadline. Students can make payments through online portals, net banking, or at designated counters on campus.

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

  • Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund minus processing charges of INR 1000
  • Withdrawal between 16-30 days: Refund of 75% after deducting processing fees
  • Withdrawal beyond 30 days: No refund is issued

Refunds are processed within 30 working days and credited directly to the student's bank account. Students must submit a formal withdrawal request along with necessary documentation for processing.
