- Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single or double occupancy rooms with basic amenities such as furniture, electricity, and internet connectivity.
- Mess Advance: Paid at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses in the university canteen, subject to monthly deductions based on consumption.
- Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected for supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Medical Fees: Covers access to medical services at the university health center and emergency healthcare coverage during the academic year.
- Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports events, cultural programs, and student clubs.
- Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate students from various backgrounds:
- Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹25,000 per semester with individual study spaces and attached bathrooms.
- Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹20,000 per semester with shared bathroom facilities and common areas.
- Triple Occupancy Rooms: ₹18,000 per semester with shared facilities and limited privacy.
Mess billing operates on a monthly basis, where students receive their meals according to a fixed schedule. Monthly bills are adjusted based on actual consumption, and rebates are available for students who miss fewer than 5 days of meals in a month. Students can opt for different meal plans including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and hybrid options.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various financial assistance schemes to ensure equitable access to quality education:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories are eligible for 100% fee waivers upon submission of valid certificates.
- EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees and a 30% rebate on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Offers a 25% reduction in fees for students from minority communities who meet income criteria.
Income slabs for fee concessions are as follows:
- Below ₹1,00,000: Full concession
- ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000: 50% concession
- ₹2,00,000 – ₹3,00,000: 30% concession
- Above ₹3,00,000: No concession
Applications for fee waivers and concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste validity certificates, or disability certificates. The process is handled by the Student Welfare Committee and reviewed annually.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid online through the university portal using secured payment gateways:
- Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid within 7 days of issuing the bill or before the start of each semester.
- Late Fee Calculation: A late fee of ₹500 per day is applied if payment is delayed beyond the deadline.
- Refund Policy: Refunds are processed for students withdrawing from the university after 30 days of admission, subject to deductions for administrative costs and hostel charges already incurred.
The refund procedure requires students to submit a written application along with relevant documents such as transfer certificates or medical records. Refunds are typically processed within 60 working days from receipt of the complete documentation.
