Detailed Fee Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers academic instruction, access to library resources, and administrative support services. The fee includes course materials, laboratory sessions, and faculty guidance throughout the program.

Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation in university-hosted dormitories equipped with basic amenities such as beds, desks, wardrobes, internet connectivity, and common areas for socializing and studying.

Mess Advance: Paid upfront to cover meal expenses during the semester. The amount is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A voluntary contribution used for supporting students facing financial hardships, organizing cultural events, and funding extracurricular activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, emergency care, and routine checkups.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports facilities, fitness programs, and recreational activities aimed at promoting physical well-being among students.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers three types of hostel rooms:

• Semi-Furnished Single Room: ₹15,000 per semester (includes bed, study table, chair, wardrobe)
• Semi-Furnished Double Room: ₹12,000 per semester (shared with one roommate)
• Fully Furnished Room: ₹18,000 per semester (includes all furniture and appliances)

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students prepay for meals at the start of each month. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly, subject to approval from the hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial aid options for deserving students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category Students: Eligible for full fee waiver with an income slab of less than ₹1 lakh annually.
• EWS Category Students: Receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees, provided their annual income is below ₹3 lakh.
• MCM (Minority Community Members): Enjoy a 25% concession on tuition fees for two consecutive years.

To apply for these benefits, students must submit relevant documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, disability certificates, and Aadhaar cards. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee, and decisions are communicated within ten working days.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through online banking or NEFT/RTGS transfers to the designated university account. Students receive payment receipts via email upon successful transaction.

Late fees of ₹500 per day are applicable if payments are made after the deadline. Refunds, if any, are processed according to the official refund rules outlined in the university handbook. Withdrawals must be accompanied by a written application and approval from the principal concerned. Refunds are typically credited within 15 working days after verification of all dues.
