Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee

Hostel Rent
Hostel rent is charged per semester and varies based on room type. The university provides single, double, and triple occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms and common areas.
Mess Advance
Mess advance covers the cost of meals for one semester. Students are required to pay this amount at the beginning of each semester and can opt for monthly billing after initial payment.
Student Benevolent Fund
This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to ensure mutual aid among students.
Medical Fees

Gymkhana Fees

Room Types

Mess Billing System
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive bills at the beginning of each month based on meal consumption. Refunds are processed for unused portions if meals are not consumed.
Rebate Policies
- Students staying in hostels during examination periods may be eligible for partial rebates on hostel rent and mess charges.
- Students with valid health certificates may receive full or partial refunds depending on the duration of absence from campus.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
The university offers various fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships to deserving students based on financial need, academic excellence, or other criteria. These are categorized as follows:
Eligibility Criteria
- SC/ST/PwD: Income below INR 400000 per annum with a valid certificate from the appropriate authority.
- EWS: Family income between INR 400001 and INR 800000 with an EWS certificate issued by the competent authority.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Students belonging to minority communities with income below INR 400000 per annum.
Benefits
- SC/ST/PwD: Full fee waiver for tuition, hostel, and mess charges.
- EWS: 50% reduction in fees for all components except examination fees.
- MCM: 25% reduction in fees for tuition, hostel, and mess charges.
Application Process
Candidates must submit an application form along with supporting documents (income certificate, caste certificate, etc.) through the official website. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee within 15 working days.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payment Deadlines
All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Failure to pay on time incurs a late fee of INR 500 per day until payment is received.
Late Fee Calculation
Late fees are calculated based on the number of days beyond the deadline. For example, if fees are due on July 1st and paid on July 5th, a late fee of INR 2000 (INR 500 x 4 days) would be applied.
Refund Policy
If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, a refund of tuition fees and hostel charges will be processed after deducting administrative costs. No refunds are provided for mess advance or other non-refundable components.
