Fee Components Explained

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, faculty salaries, course materials, and administrative costs.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in the university hostel facilities with shared amenities.
  • Mess Advance: A prepayment for meals during the semester, which is adjusted upon monthly billing.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies.
  • Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus medical facilities and healthcare services.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events.
  • Examination Fees: Covers exam conduct, evaluation, and result processing charges.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various types of hostels with different room configurations to accommodate students from different backgrounds:

  • Single Room: ₹8,000/month for a single occupancy room with basic amenities.
  • Double Room: ₹6,000/month for two students sharing a room with shared bathroom facilities.
  • Triple Room: ₹5,000/month for three students sharing a room with shared bathroom facilities.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle, where students pay a fixed advance amount and are billed based on actual consumption. Rebate policies apply to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, allowing them to receive up to 50% discounts on hostel charges.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial aid options for eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees and partial waivers on hostel charges based on income slabs.
  • EWS Category: Eligible students can avail up to 50% fee concession on all components of the fee structure.
  • MCM (Minority Community): Students from minority communities may receive a 25% discount on tuition fees and hostel charges.

The application process involves submitting income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other supporting documents through the official portal. The university reviews applications quarterly and disburses aid accordingly.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students must complete fee payment by specified deadlines to avoid late fees or disqualification from the program. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹1,000 per day until full payment is made.

In case of withdrawal, students must submit an official application form along with supporting documents within 30 days of notification. Refunds are processed after verification of eligibility and deduction of administrative charges. The refund policy varies depending on the stage of admission and reasons for withdrawal.
