Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel options to accommodate students from different backgrounds. Hostels are equipped with basic amenities such as internet connectivity, laundry services, and 24/7 security.

Room types include single occupancy rooms (₹15,000 per semester), double occupancy rooms (₹12,000 per semester), and triple occupancy rooms (₹10,000 per semester). Each room is furnished with essential furniture including beds, study desks, wardrobes, and fans.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students are required to pay an advance amount before the start of each month. At the end of the term, the bill is adjusted based on actual consumption, and any excess or deficit is refunded accordingly.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they do not stay in the hostel for a full month due to travel or other reasons. These rebates are calculated on a pro-rata basis and must be requested through the hostel administration office.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees.
  • EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections get a 25% discount on tuition fees.
  • MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit Award Recipients): A 20% reduction in fees for children of award winners.

Eligibility for these concessions is determined based on income slabs and category certificates. Applications must be submitted through the university portal along with supporting documents.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees are to be paid online via net banking or credit/debit cards. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated by the administration, typically 10 days before the start of each semester.

Late fees are charged at ₹500 per day for delayed payments beyond the deadline. However, students facing genuine financial hardships can apply for a waiver after submitting a written request with supporting documents.

Refund policies are applied in cases of withdrawal from the program or transfer to another institution. Refunds are processed within 30 days of approval and are subject to deductions for administrative charges and outstanding dues.
