Hostel & Mess Charges
Our campus offers a variety of hostel options, each designed to provide comfort and convenience for students. The hostels are equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, study halls, and recreational areas.
Room types include single, double, and triple sharing accommodations. Each room comes with essential furniture like beds, wardrobes, desks, and chairs. Students can choose their preferred room type during the registration process.
The mess billing system is transparent and user-friendly. Meals are served in a centralized dining hall, and students receive meal cards that are linked to their accounts. Billing occurs monthly, and any outstanding balances must be settled before the next month’s meals are provided.
Rebate policies allow students to get partial refunds for unused days if they leave campus during breaks or holidays. These rebates are processed automatically at the end of each semester based on attendance records.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Pannadhay University Sikkim offers various financial aid options to ensure accessibility for deserving students. The eligibility criteria for these programs are clearly defined:
- SC/ST/PwD: Students from reserved categories are eligible for a 50% concession on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel charges.
- EWS: Eligible students receive a 25% reduction in tuition fees and partial concession on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Offers a 10% discount on tuition fees and access to limited financial aid programs.
To apply for these schemes, students must submit relevant documentation including caste certificates, income proofs, or disability certificates. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee, and decisions are communicated within two weeks of submission.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online channels such as net banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Late payments attract a fixed penalty of INR 1000 per day until the dues are cleared.
If a student withdraws from the university within the first month of admission, a full refund is processed after deducting administrative charges. After one month, refunds are subject to approval and may vary depending on the reason for withdrawal.
Students who fail to meet attendance requirements or violate academic policies may face penalties or deductions in their refund eligibility. Refunds are processed within 30 days of receiving a formal request and approval from the finance department.
