Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, course materials, and access to digital resources. It is charged per semester.
Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided for all students. Room types include single, double, triple, and quad occupancy with shared facilities.
Mess Advance: An advance payment required for mess charges, which are deducted monthly from the student's account.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards supporting students in need.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus.
Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to sports facilities and recreational activities.
Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides modern hostel accommodations with air-conditioned rooms, study areas, and common spaces. Room types include single (₹15,000/month), double (₹10,000/month), triple (₹8,000/month), and quad (₹6,000/month). Each room comes with essential furniture and utilities.
Mess charges are determined based on the number of meals consumed daily. The monthly bill is calculated using an average rate of ₹3,000 per meal, adjusted according to consumption patterns. Rebates are available for students who attend meals regularly.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds may apply for fee waivers or concessions under the following categories:
- SC/ST/PwD: 100% waiver on tuition fee and hostel rent
- EWS: 50% waiver on tuition fee and hostel rent
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% waiver on tuition fee and hostel rent
Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and family details. Applications must be submitted with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees must be paid within the specified deadlines for each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹1,000 per day after the due date. Students can make payments online through the university portal or via NEFT/RTGS.
If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies:
- Withdrawal before 30 days: Full refund
- Withdrawal between 30-60 days: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after 60 days: No refund
The refund process takes approximately 15 working days after submission of the withdrawal form and required documentation.
