Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, lab access, and academic resources for the entire semester. This fee includes access to online libraries, simulation software, and research facilities.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single, double, or triple occupancy rooms with amenities like Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.

Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges for the semester, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner at campus dining halls. Monthly mess bills are adjusted against this advance.

Student Benevolent Fund: A mandatory contribution to support underprivileged students, faculty welfare programs, and campus development initiatives.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations, diagnostics, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports student sports activities, fitness centers, and extracurricular events organized by the institute's gymkhana committee.

Examination Fees: Covers examination conduct, result processing, transcript generation, and other administrative costs associated with academic assessments.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostels at Prashanti Institute of Technology and Science offer multiple room types to suit different preferences:

  • Single Occupancy Room: INR 50,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: INR 45,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 40,000 per semester

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students are billed based on the number of meals consumed and adjusted against their advance payments.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds in cases of temporary leave or illness, subject to proper documentation.

Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships

Various scholarships are available for meritorious and financially disadvantaged students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive 100% fee waiver based on income slabs below INR 2.5 lakhs per annum.
  • EWS Category: Students with family income up to INR 6 lakhs get 50% fee concession.
  • MCM (Minority Community Merit): Offers 25% fee waiver for students from minority communities scoring above 90% in qualifying exams.

Applications for financial aid must be submitted along with supporting documents including income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The process typically starts in the first week of July each year.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of the semester. Payment can be made through net banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts drawn on nationalized banks. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day.

Refunds are processed within 15 working days if students withdraw from the program after the first month of admission. Refund eligibility depends on the reason for withdrawal and adherence to official procedures.
