Fee Components
Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction and academic resources. It is divided into semesters and is subject to annual revision based on the university's policies.
Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided to all students, with various room types available. The rent is fixed for the academic year and includes utilities and maintenance.
Mess Advance: Students are required to pay a mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students in need and is used for emergency assistance and scholarships.
Medical Fees: This fee covers basic medical services and health check-ups for students.
Gymkhana Fees: This fee supports the maintenance of sports facilities and activities.

Hostel & Mess Charges
Rk University Rajkot offers various types of hostel accommodations to students, including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes.
The mess charges are based on the number of meals consumed and are adjusted monthly. Students can opt for different meal plans, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The mess billing system is transparent, with monthly bills sent to students via email.
Rebate policies are available for students who are absent for more than a week due to valid reasons. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days absent and is adjusted in the next month's bill.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various fee waivers and concessions for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These include:
- SC/ST/PwD students: 100% fee waiver
- EWS students: 50% fee waiver
- MCM students: 25% fee waiver
Eligibility criteria for these concessions are based on income slabs and other documented proofs. Students must submit the required documents to the university's finance department for verification.
Additionally, the university offers merit-based scholarships for students who excel academically. These scholarships are awarded based on performance in qualifying examinations and academic records.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Students are required to pay the fees within the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts.
Failure to pay fees on time may result in late fees, which are calculated at 5% per month. Students are advised to pay their fees before the due date to avoid any inconvenience.
In case of withdrawal, the refund policy is as follows:
- Withdrawal before 15 days of the academic year: 100% refund
- Withdrawal between 15 and 30 days: 75% refund
- Withdrawal after 30 days: 50% refund
The refund process is initiated after the completion of all formalities, and the refund amount is credited to the student's account within 30 days.
