Fee Structure Explanation
Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources. It is divided into two semesters with installment payments to ease financial burden.
Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation includes single occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms and common facilities. The rent is adjusted annually based on inflation and infrastructure improvements.
Mess Advance: A fixed advance amount is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses throughout the term. This ensures students have uninterrupted access to campus dining services.
Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports financially disadvantaged students through emergency grants and scholarships. Contributions are minimal but essential for creating a supportive academic environment.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including routine check-ups, first aid, and preventive health programs.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports fitness and recreational activities offered by the student government, including sports tournaments, cultural events, and wellness workshops.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end examinations, including paper printing, invigilation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
Our campus offers multiple hostel options to accommodate varying preferences and budgets. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy suites with attached or common bathrooms.
The mess billing system is integrated with the student portal where monthly charges are deducted automatically based on attendance records. Students can also opt for customized meal plans during special occasions or holidays.
Rebate policies are available for students who attend fewer than 75% of scheduled meals in a month, reducing their mess charges proportionally. Additionally, students with disabilities may receive additional rebates based on medical certificates.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We offer several financial aid options to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD: Full waiver of tuition fee and hostel charges based on valid certificates. Eligibility is determined through income slabs ranging from INR 1 lakh to 2 lakh annually.
- EWS: Partial concession on tuition fee and hostel rent for families with annual income between INR 2 lakh and 5 lakh.
- MCM (Minority Community Students): Reduced fees for students from recognized minority communities with family income up to INR 3 lakh per year.
The application process requires submission of necessary documents including caste certificates, income proofs, and Aadhaar cards. Applications are reviewed by a committee comprising faculty and administrative staff to ensure fair distribution of benefits.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online portals or bank transfers as specified on the official website. Late payments attract a nominal penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the deadline. Students are advised to complete payment before the start of each semester to avoid disruptions in academics.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies apply according to the university guidelines:
- Full refund is granted if withdrawal occurs within one week of admission.
- 75% refund is provided for withdrawals between 1-4 weeks.
- 50% refund is applicable for withdrawals between 4-8 weeks.
- No refund is allowed beyond 8 weeks of admission.
The refund process typically takes 30 days to complete once the withdrawal request is approved by the administration and submitted along with required documentation.
