Detailed Breakdown of Fee Components

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative support. It includes charges for lectures, laboratory sessions, workshops, guest speaker events, and digital learning platforms. The fee is adjusted annually based on inflation rates and institutional investments in infrastructure and faculty development.

Hostel Rent

Hostel accommodation is provided to all students who wish to reside on campus. The rent varies depending on room type and amenities offered. Single occupancy rooms are available at 25,000 INR per semester, while shared rooms may cost less. Students are required to pay an advance of one month's rent upon admission.

Mess Advance

The mess advance is a fixed amount paid upfront for meals during the semester. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 15 days. The advance is adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption and refunded accordingly.

Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged. The fund provides emergency loans, scholarships, and assistance in case of medical emergencies or family hardships.

Medical Fees

The medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the on-campus health center. These include consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, and minor treatments. Students are encouraged to maintain health insurance coverage for comprehensive protection.

Gymkhana Fees

This fee supports extracurricular activities, sports facilities, cultural events, and student clubs. The funds ensure access to gyms, recreational spaces, and organized sporting competitions that contribute to holistic development.

Examination Fees

The examination fees cover costs associated with conducting semester-end and annual exams, including paper setting, invigilation, result processing, and certificate generation. The fee is fixed at 1,500 INR per semester and includes all necessary administrative charges.

Other Charges

This category includes miscellaneous expenses such as transportation, library access, printing services, and additional academic resources. These charges are minimal and reflect the institution's commitment to providing value-added services without overburdening students financially.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Room Types and Amenities

The hostel offers several room types to accommodate different preferences and budgets:

  • Double Occupancy Room: Shared room with two beds, common bathroom, desk, chair, and basic amenities.
  • Triple Occupancy Room: Shared room for three students, equipped with necessary furniture and facilities.
Mess Billing System

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with meals charged per day. Students are billed based on their consumption and refunded if they leave campus early or fail to consume all meals. The system ensures transparency by providing daily updates on meal consumption and balance.

Rebate Policies

  • Medical Leave: A full rebate is granted for medical leave exceeding one month, provided valid documentation is submitted.
