Admission Process

The admission process for the Agriculture program at Sam Global University Bhopal is designed to identify and select students who demonstrate academic excellence, potential for growth, and a genuine interest in agriculture and sustainable development.

For undergraduate admissions, candidates must have completed their 12th-grade education with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC) from a recognized board. Additionally, students must meet the age criteria of being at least 17 years old by the time of admission.

The application process begins with online registration through the university's official website. Candidates are required to fill out an application form with personal details, academic history, and preferences for the program. The application fee is Rs. 2000 for general category candidates and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/PwD categories.

After submitting the application, candidates must appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. The weightage is distributed as follows:

  • Physics: 20%
  • Chemistry: 20%
  • Biology: 25%
  • Mathematics: 20%
  • General Knowledge: 15%

The entrance examination is conducted in the month of May, with results typically announced within two weeks. Based on the performance in the entrance exam and the merit list, candidates are called for counseling sessions.

During the counseling process, candidates must submit original documents including their 12th-grade mark sheet, transfer certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant certificates. The final seat allocation is based on the candidate's rank in the entrance examination, category-wise reservation, and their preferences for different programs.
