Fee Components Explained

  • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction by faculty members, course materials, and digital resources provided throughout the program.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted residential facilities with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.
  • Mess Advance: Covers meal expenses for the semester. Students pay an advance amount at the beginning of each term.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial difficulties through grants and emergency assistance.
  • Medical Fees: Provides access to on-campus medical facilities, health check-ups, and basic healthcare services.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds recreational activities, sports events, and fitness programs for students.
  • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel room types to accommodate students:

  • Single Occupancy Room: ₹20,000 per semester with private bathroom and study area.
  • Double Occupancy Room: ₹18,000 per semester with shared bathroom facilities.
  • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹16,000 per semester with shared bathroom and common lounge space.

Mess billing is managed through a digital system where students receive monthly bills based on consumption. Rebates are available for students who maintain good attendance and academic performance. Monthly mess charges range between ₹2500 to ₹3000 depending on the category of student.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options to support deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee with partial rebate on hostel rent (₹10,000 per semester).
  • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full rebate on hostel rent.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% waiver on tuition fee with no hostel rebate.

Eligibility for these concessions is determined based on income slabs:

  • Below ₹3 lakh annually: Full concession applicable.
  • ₹3 lakh to ₹6 lakh annually: 50% concession.
  • ₹6 lakh to ₹10 lakh annually: 25% concession.

Applications for fee concessions must be submitted before the start of the academic year along with supporting documents such as income certificates and caste certificates.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or through UPI. Students are required to complete payment within 15 days of fee declaration. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹1000 per day until the balance is cleared.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refund rules apply:

  • Before 30 days of admission: Full refund minus processing fees (₹500).
  • Between 30-60 days: 75% refund after deducting administrative costs.
  • After 60 days: No refund is granted except for exceptional circumstances.

Students may also opt for installment payments if they are unable to pay the full amount upfront. The university allows up to three installments with a minimum of ₹50,000 per installment.
