Fee Components Explained

• Tuition Fee: This is the primary fee for attending classes and accessing academic resources. It covers the cost of instruction, faculty salaries, and academic infrastructure.
• Hostel Rent: This fee covers accommodation in university-hosted hostels. The rent is charged per semester and includes basic amenities and utilities.
• Mess Advance: This is an advance payment for meals provided in the university cafeteria. The amount is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.
• Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students in need and contributes to the university's social welfare initiatives.
• Medical Fees: This fee covers basic medical services provided by the university's health center.
• Gymkhana Fees: This fee supports the university's sports and cultural activities and facilities.
• Examination Fees: This fee covers the cost of conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides hostel facilities for students, with different room types available to accommodate varying needs:

• Single Room: Rs. 15,000 per semester
• Double Room: Rs. 12,000 per semester
• Triple Room: Rs. 10,000 per semester

The mess charges are fixed at Rs. 10,000 per semester, and students are required to pay an advance. The mess billing system is transparent, with monthly updates on consumption and adjustments.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waivers and concessions for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees
• EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees
• MCM (Minority Community): 25% waiver on tuition fees

Students must submit the required documents and fill out an application form to avail of these concessions. The eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and other factors.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make payments through online banking or NEFT/RTGS. The payment deadline for each semester is the first week of the semester. Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day.

The refund policy is applicable in cases of withdrawal or transfer. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the application, subject to the deduction of applicable fees and penalties.
