Admission Process
The admission process for the MBA program at Sree Venkateswara Degree College Nellore is designed to be transparent, fair, and aligned with national standards. The process involves several stages, from application submission to final seat acceptance, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates are selected.
The first stage is the online application submission. Prospective students must register on the official website and fill out the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details. The application form also requires information about the candidate's educational background, work experience, and preferences for specializations.
Following the application submission, candidates are required to appear for an entrance examination. The examination is conducted in a computer-based format and tests the candidate's aptitude in quantitative ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and general awareness. The exam is typically held in the month of May or June.
After the entrance examination, candidates are ranked based on their performance. The ranking is determined by a combination of the entrance exam score and academic performance in the qualifying examination. The cut-off scores for each category are announced on the official website.
The next stage is the counseling process, which is conducted by the college in collaboration with the state-level authorities. During counseling, candidates are required to select their preferred seats based on their rank and the availability of seats. The counseling process is conducted in multiple rounds, and candidates are given the opportunity to revise their choices.
Finally, candidates who are selected are required to complete the admission formalities, including document verification, fee payment, and seat acceptance. The admission process is completed once all the formalities are completed.
