Fee Components
The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and administrative support. It is divided into two semesters, with payment due at the beginning of each semester.
Hostel rent covers accommodation in the college hostel, including room maintenance, utilities, and security. The hostel provides a safe and comfortable living environment for students.
Mess advance is a monthly payment for food services. Students are required to pay this advance at the beginning of each month to ensure uninterrupted meal services.
The Student Benevolent Fund is a contribution towards student welfare and support services. It funds activities such as scholarships, counseling, and emergency assistance.
Medical fees cover basic healthcare services and emergency medical assistance. The college has a medical center with qualified doctors and nurses to provide prompt medical attention.
Gymkhana fees support extracurricular activities and sports facilities. These fees fund the maintenance of sports equipment, organizing events, and providing training for students.
Examination fees cover the cost of conducting end-of-semester examinations and maintaining examination facilities. These fees ensure that students have access to quality examination services and secure test environments.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The college provides hostel facilities for students who wish to live on campus. Hostel rooms are available in different categories, including single, double, and triple occupancy. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes.
Hostel charges vary based on room type and amenities. Single occupancy rooms are priced higher than shared rooms, but they offer more privacy and comfort. Students can choose their preferred room type based on their budget and preferences.
The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals provided per day. Students are required to pay a monthly advance for meals, which is adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption.
Rebate policies are available for students who are absent from the hostel for a certain number of days. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days absent and the applicable hostel charges.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The college offers various fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These financial aids are available based on income slabs and other eligibility criteria.
For SC/ST/PwD students, a 50% concession is provided on tuition fees. For EWS students, a 25% concession is offered. MCM (Minority Community) students are eligible for a 10% concession on tuition fees.
Additional scholarships are available for meritorious students who have performed exceptionally well in their qualifying examination. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and other criteria.
The application process for fee waivers and scholarships is conducted online. Students must submit the required documents, including income certificates, caste certificates, and academic records, to be considered for financial aid.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Students are required to pay the fees at the beginning of each semester. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or bank transfers. The college provides detailed instructions on the payment process on its official website.
Late fees are applicable for payments made after the due date. The late fee is calculated as 5% of the total fee amount per month.
The refund policy is applicable in cases of withdrawal or transfer from the college. Students must submit a formal application for withdrawal, and the refund process is initiated after verification of documents.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of the application submission, provided that all conditions are met. The refund amount is credited to the student's bank account.
