Fee Structure Overview

The total fee structure for the Computer Science program at The Aryavart International University North Tripura is designed to provide value through comprehensive educational services, including access to world-class infrastructure, experienced faculty, and industry-aligned curriculum. The fees are paid on a semester-wise basis, with each payment cycle covering tuition, hostel, mess, and other essential charges.

Breakdown of Individual Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library usage, and administrative overheads. This component remains consistent across all semesters.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single or double occupancy rooms with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study tables, and common areas. Single rooms are priced at 80k per semester while doubles cost 70k.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount paid upfront to cover meals for the entire semester. This ensures that students have uninterrupted access to nutritious food throughout their stay.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare initiatives, including health check-ups, scholarships, and community development projects.

Medical Fees: Covers routine medical consultations, vaccinations, and emergency healthcare services available on campus.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports fitness facilities, sports equipment maintenance, and extracurricular activities such as inter-college competitions and cultural events.

Examination Fees: Paid for conducting internal assessments, external evaluations, and certification processes. These fees are updated annually based on regulatory changes.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university operates modern hostels equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, 24/7 electricity supply, and CCTV surveillance. Rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy types, each offering distinct comfort levels.

Students are assigned to hostels based on their preference and availability. The mess system offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, with additional non-vegetarian dishes available upon request. Meal timing is strictly adhered to ensure timely service for all residents.

Rebate policies are applicable for students who take leave or go on short trips during the semester. These rebates vary depending on the duration and reason for absence, with a maximum of 50% refund allowed under certain conditions.

Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships

The university provides several financial assistance schemes to deserving students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category Students: Eligible for up to 100% waiver on tuition fees and partial reimbursement of hostel charges based on income criteria.
• EWS Category Students: Receive a 50% concession on tuition and full support in hostel and mess charges.
• MCM (Minority Community Members): Benefit from 25% reduction in fees for all components except examination fees, which are fully waived.

To apply for these concessions, students must submit relevant documents including caste certificates, income proofs, or disability certificates as per the guidelines issued by the government and university authorities.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fee payments must be made through online banking or NEFT transfers to the university’s designated account. Late payments attract a penalty of 1000 rupees per month, unless prior approval is obtained from the finance department.

If a student decides to withdraw from the program, they may apply for a refund within 15 days of withdrawal. Refund eligibility depends on the number of semesters completed and the reason for withdrawal. Full refunds are granted in cases of academic failure or serious illness with appropriate documentation.

The university ensures transparency in all financial transactions and provides receipts and detailed billing statements upon request. Students can access their payment history through the online portal using their registered credentials.
