Detailed Narrative Explanation of Fee Components

The tuition fee covers instruction, access to academic resources, laboratory facilities, and administrative support. It is designed to reflect the high-quality education provided by our faculty and the advanced infrastructure available to students.

Hostel charges are based on the type of accommodation chosen, with options ranging from single occupancy rooms to shared dormitories. The rent includes utilities, internet connectivity, and maintenance services.

Mess advance is collected upfront to cover meal expenses for the semester. This ensures that students have uninterrupted access to nutritious meals without financial disruption during their studies.

The Student Benevolent Fund supports initiatives aimed at improving student welfare, including scholarships, emergency assistance, and extracurricular activities. Contributions to this fund reflect the university's commitment to holistic student development.

Medical fees cover basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations with doctors, diagnostic tests, and medications. These services are designed to ensure that students maintain good health throughout their academic journey.

Gymkhana fees support sports and recreational activities, including access to gymnasiums, swimming pools, and athletic fields. These facilities encourage physical fitness and teamwork among students.

Examination fees cover the costs associated with conducting internal and external evaluations, including question paper preparation, proctoring, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Students can choose from different room types based on their preferences and budget constraints:

  • Single Occupancy Room: ₹25,000 per semester, includes air conditioning, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and laundry services.
  • Double Occupancy Room: ₹20,000 per semester, includes shared bathroom, Wi-Fi, and common areas access.
  • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹15,000 per semester, includes shared facilities and basic amenities.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle. Meals are served in the campus cafeteria, with options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Students are required to pay an advance amount for meals each month, which is adjusted at the end of the billing period based on actual consumption.

Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to academic or medical reasons. Applications for rebates must be submitted to the hostel office with supporting documents such as attendance records or medical certificates.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial aid options are available to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC, ST, or PwD categories receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees. Additional concessions may be granted based on income slabs.
  • EWS Category: EWS students receive a 25% discount on tuition fees. Further reductions are possible depending on family income and other factors.
  • MCM (Maiden Child of a Married Couple): This category receives full waiver on tuition fees along with partial concessions on hostel charges.

To apply for financial assistance, students must submit an application form along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. Applications are reviewed by the finance committee and approved based on eligibility criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online through the university portal using secure payment gateways. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees and penalties. Students who fail to pay within the stipulated time may face restrictions on library access, exam registration, or course enrollment.

For students who withdraw from the program, a refund policy applies:

  • Withdrawal before semester commencement: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal within first month of semester: 90% refund minus administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal after first month: 70% refund minus administrative charges.

Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal confirmation and are credited to the student's bank account. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until full payment is received.
